  1. I really, really hope this was posted innocently and in error.

It isn’t a bona fide video about atheism and religion. Brian Dalton’s friend has been accused of sexually predatory behaviour. In this video, towards the end, he is supporting his friend by trying to discredit his accuser.

As an admirer of Richard’s work I truly, truly hope that he is not aligning himself with this. It would make me very happy if he removed this link, and I really hope that he posted it in good faith.

  2. I’ve already received this via “Why Evolution is True”; I think it’s funny and the acting is enjoyable. And of course Brian Keith Dalton is a lapsed Mormon himself so he’s fully qualified to write and perform on the subject.

          A teaspoon of something??

Sailors? Anyway, I meant to say a spoonful of sugar… Independence, Missouri is where Big Joe had a “revelation”. After his gang were initially kicked out of Jackson County, they bought land that eventually became this. The grand pipe organ plays Handel’s ‘Messiah’ each year, the spiral is attractive – sweet to the beholder, but alas, hiding the innards.

Mormonism is even more bizarre than I imagined. Honestly, how can they swallow this stuff?

As an ex-Mormon, I loved this clip. But it’s just an hors d’œuvre. Here’s the full meal in the Book of Mormon, every word of it accurate, I swear: Brother Jake Summarizes the Book or Mormon

When you see the whole enchilada, how can anyone NOT be embarrassed to swallow it as “history”?

        I see parallels with Scientology.
