Existence : being real; presence in place or situation; way of living

What is it like to be ALIVE? to be Human? to EXIST in this vast universe? There will be a moment in your life when you ask these questions, nobody has the answer to. Finding the answers to the greatest secrets of the universe, and understand the meaning of the mysterious phenomenon called 'Life'.

This film is not to give you the answers, but to give you a perspective on Life as we know it, through the words of some of the most greatest astronomers, philosophers and visionaries of our time.

This was my final project for my very first editing class at the Academy of Art University. I tried to make the best use of the limited time, and portray my thoughts and beliefs through this. Sometimes I wish I had more time, but oh well I don't have any regrets.

Thanks Pratt. Enjoyed all my heros voices especially Alan Watts who like Sagan and Dawkins changed my life.

Alan Watts? Seriously? He’s not as arrogant and smug as Chopra but whenever I hear Watts speak my assessment of what he’s saying is that it’s pseudoscience. Like Chopra some of the things he says are just truisms, some of them are so vacuous you can’t evaluate, and the rest are just false.

I didn’t recognise the middle voice and I thought his contribution seemed a bit “airy-fairy” for my liking. I really enjoyed hearing Dawkins & Sagan articulating their thoughts despite having heard the content on many previous occasions.

I’ve never heard of Alan Watts, but it did seem to me that he was saying the opposite of Professor Dawkins. I did like what Watts said, it just doesn’t imply what he seems to think IMHO.

  1. A wee bit cheesy, but what the hell ! It’s Boxing Day.

Whatever, I’m glad to be here and to have garnered some understanding of the greater universe around me. Humble ? No, I’m part of it !

  2. “What is it like to be ALIVE? to be Human? to EXIST in this vast universe? There will be a moment in your life when you ask these questions, nobody has the answer to.” A meaningless non-question that thankfully I haven’t asked myself yet. A better question – ‘why are there so many ‘deepisms’.
