Wow, what a moron. Where to start...
Folks, this is what we're dealing with. They want to burn our bibles.
Noooo, they want to burn THEIR bibles, which is perfectly legal and there's nothing this guy or anyone else can do about it.
They want to burn our churches.
Either he's deliberately missing the sarcasm on purpose in the idea that burning churches would be considered less an atrocity than burning bibles, or this guy is really thick. I leave it as an exercise to the reader to figure out which.
This is clearly a battle we are in.
Indeed, this is a battle that we've been in for the last 2000 years. You poor, prosecuted Christians![/sarcasm]
The parts about us wanting to make it illegal and take away their right to worship is just rich. I'd like a cited example of this. Last I heard, there are tons of places for them to do their little worshipping. They're called churches. Do it there. Why is that not good enough? Oh, they want to do it in public also? How about we gather up a bunch of atheists to disrupt their church services?
Why is it so difficult for these people to understand the idea of "keep it to yourself, we don't want it."?

Exactly! the KKK and the Nazis were both notorious for allowing people to express unpopular views in an open and free forum

Maybe someone should made a video by pasting together the racier passages from the bible so that the public would know what these fundis believe.11. Comment #58955 by Rtambree on July 26, 2007 at 6:36 pm
There may even be a second twist on this, that Christian Trolls themselves are posting the most extreme comments caricaturing atheists and then other Christians get outraged and think it's "official atheist policy".12. Comment #58956 by Russell's Teapot on July 26, 2007 at 6:36 pm

More memes in action. Everything this man disagrees with is the work of an invisible, malevolent being named Satan. This meme works in conjunction with the "belief without evidence is a virtue" idea. The two mutually support one another.28. Comment #58985 by Bonzai on July 26, 2007 at 9:25 pm

I went through this thread all 86 post in 5 pages. I counted up the responses. Here is a break down;
There were 8 in favor.
45 post strongly against such an idea.
About 33 OT comments or the OP posting trying in vain to support his views.
Even the OP eventually started to recant his position once it was apparent that there was no support for his stupid idea.

I am assuming that the terrorist actions being planned against Christians and Muslims on Richard Dawkin's website aren't supported by the majority of aethiests. I wonder what the BBC and the British press will say. Let's find out shall we?

Come on, give them some slack. These people obviously don't know what the Internet is, much less a forum. As you can see from the video, which person in the right mind would use a video camera to film a web site, especially since its possible to simply add the website as an image into the video itself? The irritating constant zooming will be absolutely unnecessary and the words shown will be clearer.50. Comment #59034 by LeeC on July 27, 2007 at 3:05 am
