We should throw people like this out of the country, then we'd have more room for immigrants. Problem solved!

I think some German fellow tried some of this scapegoating in the '30s and '40's.17. Comment #36227 by stephenray on April 30, 2007 at 2:40 pm

scottishgeologist: I know not if you are aware of it, but the Landover Baptist website, as funny as it is, is an offshoot of what, for my money, is the funniest website ever. That being, of course, the website of "America's Best Christian", Mrs. Betty Bowers. If you haven't checked out that website, you should. So should everbody who visits this website. More than once, I've laughed until I cried. It is priceless!24. Comment #36265 by MIND_REBEL on April 30, 2007 at 5:18 pm

If the Washington DC Voting Rights bill stands up to the constitutional challenge in the courts that it will face, Utah will also be given another vote in the House. Which one of those wackos or a related wacko will end up with a vote in Congress.27. Comment #36294 by Mr. Grape on April 30, 2007 at 8:55 pm

You all are missing a very important point here: Carl Rove is an admitted unbeliever and I have no doubt that Bush serves as his own narcissistic diety. These people are utterly cynical, much like Falwell, and will embrace anything that empowers them. They love this crap! These are their people and they can't get psychotic enough to suit the Bush bunch. These are the dregs of Bush's power base and he is not thereby embarrassed in the least. Dr. Goebbels talked at great length about this in his modest update of Machiavelli.32. Comment #36604 by Mormonatheist on May 1, 2007 at 5:54 pm
I live in Utah county, home of BYU, the private religious college owned by the mormon church. People here literally look at Salt Lake City (about 50 miles north of us) as an evil bastion of secularism. I clicked on this link hoping to read some hilarious article about idiot fundies in Kansas or Arkansas or some other kansas, only to realize that I live in a place where people who really should not be allowed to operate a vehicle or graduate from high school, are instead elected to public office.33. I know I shouldn't but I can't stop laughing after reading that. Somebody please put my mind at ease and assure me that this is a parody and not reality. Otherwise, we are doomed, doomed I say. Next they'll be burning witches again.34. Comment #36695 by L.Minnik on May 2, 2007 at 3:14 am
"I'm not calling for BYU to fire them but if no one signs up for their classes ..." she said. "If they say the Vice President doesn't have anything to say we want to hear, I'm not interested in having my daughter learn from them."35. Comment #36920 by cmacblue42 on May 2, 2007 at 7:44 pm
In my research on this issue, the number of estimated illegal immigrants hit 12 million recently while the number of un employed peoples is just 6.7 million, many of which were layed off from tech companies, and getting payed at a rate of well above 10 dollars an hour, and owuldnt consider doing labor at all. So, if we did get rid of the illegal immigrants, we are36. Comment #37701 by Jimill on May 5, 2007 at 1:36 pm
