Lying for Jesus?Mark Mathis, a producer of the film who attended the screening, said that "of course" he had recognized Dr. Dawkins, but allowed him to attend because "he has handled himself fairly honorably, he is a guest in our country and I had to presume he had flown a long way to see the film."
It would appear that Expelled's producer Mark Mathis was not being truthful when he told me tonight that Crossroads was a 'working title' for the film Expelled. As Wesley Elsberry points out, the domain for Expelled was purchased before most, if not all, of the interviews were conducted -- and yet Richard Dawkins, Eugenie Scott, PZ Myers, and others were told they were being interviewed for a film called Crossroads.
Mr. Mark Mathis, do you want to come here and explain yourself?

God reveals Himself in His creation in many ways, in the language of DNS, the complexity of the cell. In the physical laws, in the miracle of life, to name just a few.

Sorry but you prayer theory was debunked by God.Unfortunately for you it is amply confirmed by a much greater authority - that of Terry Pratchett himself:
There were all sorts of ways to petition the Great God, but they depended largely on how much you could afford, which was right and proper and exactly how things should be. After all, those who had achieved success in the world clearly had done it with the approval of the Great God, because it was impossible to believe that they did it with his disapproval... But there were always the improvident, the stupid and those who, because of some flaw or oversight in this life or the a past one, were not even able to afford a pinch of incense. And the Great God, in His wisdom and mercy as filtered through his priests, had made provision for them.There. My authority is better than yours, so I win!

Gods don't like people not doing much work. People who aren't busy all the time might start to think.

Oops, God debunked your source as well.Such a shame for you that Mr. Pratchett actually exists, whereas your god character is just a poorly-written work of fantasy fiction. Pratchett has written far more convincing gods than all the bronze-age tribes of the middle east put together. Men like him created your god all those years ago, so if anyone deserves respect and veneration from an admirer of such characters it is he!
Seeing, contrary to popular wisdom, isn't believing. It's where belief stops, because it isn't needed any more.

The Reverend Dark: I have noticed a trend in your posts, much in the way that a Rhinocerous would notice if you rammed an arm ups its arse and then gave the St Crispin Day speach in sign language.lolol!
Tyler Durden: I will now pray to my God, Qwertyaszx the Almighty, that you return safely to this forum. I will also pray to this God, Jehovah/Yahweh, that you seem to think exists, asking that you never return to this forum. Let's see which God answers my prayers...lolol!
al-rawandi: Jesus seems like a pussy. Muhammad would kick his ass and take his lunch money.lol!
Tyler Durden: That Jesus dude made a lot of speeches, went walking a lot, and made some fish sandwiches, and was a fecking zombie - whereas Batman has a cape, ran a business, and had lots of cool gadgets!!!lol!
Bonzai: C'mon, a BUTLER??!! Now that is comedy.lol!
Quetz: Sure thing, l'il lady. -Tips imaginary cowboy hat-lol!
Diacanu: If you want to figure out for yourself how meaningless a concept "bad words", is, here's a little thought experiment. Would you rather a burglar steal all your toys in the night, and never say a word, bad or otherwise? OR. For me to utter a string of profanity about how crummy your toys are, and then walk away?hehe!
Cartomancer: What about if he prays even harder for you to stop praying?I luvs all y'alls. Srsly!

I just watched Expelled and enjoyed the movie. As a physics prof at the local college I know all too well the redicule experianced by people suggesting AI. The film however did pretty much what this article did and that was not really address the issue itself. I'm lucky in that where I teach you are allowed to put forth any view you wish as long as you can back up your argument with facts and I saw little of that in the film from either side. I've sat thru some pretty good debates with people on both sides of the issue. Personally I don't find the existance of a God any less likely than the "Big Bang." Bottom line from a Physics point of view is that at some point something had to come from nothing (scientifically impossible) or something had to have always existed (scientifically impossible). The logical part of me must conclude that something unscientific must have at some point happened. One thing for sure the film demonstrates is that regardless of what you believe (ID or Darwinism) you have to have a lot of faith. . . . .3989. 15 "Have you allowed all the women to live?" he asked them. 16 "They were the ones who followed Balaam's advice and were the means of turning the Israelites away from the LORD in what happened at Peor, so that a plague struck the LORD's people. 17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.

Philip - less with the big G on god. Remnant hasn't established that this particular god exists as yet, nor has he disproved the existence of Thor, Zeus or Atum. Using a big G gives some kind of validity to his presuppositions.
Yikes look out, I have been thinking, sorry Remnant I know God forbids that sort of thing, does anyone else here think that the above quotes only apply to men and that women can get away with blaspheming against the Holy Ghost?
