avatarThe interviewer sure likes to hear himself speak. I got sick of hearing his voice and tone.

avatarAt least he read the book, asked provocative questions and allowed Richard to fully answer. It's a better deal than he got on Bill Maher.

avatarI enjoyed listening to that. It was a pleasure and a novelty to hear an American host who was so sympathetic and in tune with Richard's views.
He still, nonetheless, ended up spending a large part of the time discussing TGD, but I have decided that this tendency is really a flattering tribute to that book.
TGD is such an influential book that it is very much a part of educated discourse. Anyone who has not had the chance to talk about it with Richard obviously aches to do so and this host not only appears to be in that category, but also knows that the audience feels the same.
Poor Richard has to keep returning the subject to TGSOE, but wisely, I think, does not appear to be too annoyed by this fact.

avatarThe interviewer was a bit of a typical over-the-top radio personality, but otherwise a good interview.

I defy anyone who has listened to this to say Dawkins is the strident, shrill, militant etc. one.

avatarThe interviewer sounded like Joe Pesci in 'My Cousin Vinny'. Good to have guys like this on our side.

 avatarRichard Dawkins vs. Lionel Blair?

Wicked!

---------------

Just listened.

The fact that it turned out not to be Mr. Blair notwithstanding, that was quite a nice little interview.

avatarThe interviewer is SO annoying; clearly besotted with his own bombastic voice. He sounds like the doctor from the old Arnie film Total Recall: 'Doug...you'll be lobotomised!'

An okay interview though despite that.

However, of the interviews I've listened to during RD's tour of the US it is a pity that one interviewer after another continually tries to return to the issue of theism from his last book rather than discuss the contents of the new one.

avatarThe mp3 file has lots of silent gaps. Sound´s like lag in a live stream. It´s very annoying. Anyone else having this problem?
