A picture is worth a thousand words. This shot was taken at the United Pentecostal Church in Bethel, Alaska, led by Dr. Loren Bradbury. The photo was taken right before the primary election which had Measure 2 on the ballot. The measure passed and will require doctors (under penalty of a felony) to go through a process of attempts to notify parents of any girl 17 years old or younger seeking an abortion.
Regardless of our party, our religion, or our stance on the issues, we need to ask ourselves when a church becomes political to the point that it should no longer have tax-exempt status.
