Today I got an upfront taste of so called "Christian charity"

I came across a group of boys throwing items at a small cat outside my building. The cat was so scared it was getting ready to run across a busy road to get away. I managed to rescue the cat and get it away from the road. The boys all wearing Catholic school uniforms began to call out at me with the words "whore" and "slut". This is not my first run in with male youths from a Catholic school behaving so rudely to others around them.

When I was in college. I was on the bus (public transit) which made a stop outside a Catholic school. A group of about 15 boys rushed the bus no of them paying their fair and hitting an elderly lady in the face with their bags. The bus driver tried to grab one of the boys and stopped one after he hit the old lady and was greeted with insults. I can really see how that Christian education's been working to produce morally respectable youth. My friends and I never engaged in such behavior growing up, we weren't perfect but we didn't hurt people or animals.

Either way I contacted the school these boys were from in spoke with the VP, who said he'd do his best to find out the boys involved and would address the issue of conduct when students are off school grounds. Hopefully something comes out of it, but I don't have high hopes.
