Do you think it exists?

I'm of the opinion it does not (look up the Benjamin Libet experiments, or the unfortunate case of Phineas Gage). The modern concept seems to stem from Des Cartes' dualism which stipulates you have your animal senses, physiological, and your spiritual senses, non-physiological, which is utter bunk because all of your senses (even 'choices') are physiological.

I believe that this myth should confronted dead on in society, as I believe it is primitive and an incomplete paradigm to use to describe human behavior.
