Faster than light. One step closer.

The OPERA labs' possible discovery seems to have become slightly more likely to be correct with a follow up experiment.

In reality there is plenty of margin for error, and enough possible errors, to shoot this hypothesis down in flames, as the researchers are at pains to point out.

I wonder how much confirmatory evidence will be needed to move the discovery from hypothesis to theory, and what form it might take should it exist. I also wonder what confirmation would mean in the world of physics?
