Jesus has come again?

This looks like a lovely little community. However it scares me just a bit that new cults like this can arise so spontaneously and, despite their premise being clearly bogus (or maybe just seems that way to me?), thousands of followers suddenly come out of the woodwork.

Take a look at this film. I have to ask: what hope is there for humanity's rationality ever triumphing when THIS can happen right now?
