My mom and I had an argument about this the other day. I'm against circumcising children. If a grown man wants to have it done for aesthetic or religious reasons that's fine with me, so long as it is his choice. But to force this onto a child disgusts me. FGM and MGM is wrong and no one, not even a parent should be allowed to do that to their child.

Ok a little childish but I would love the world of Harry Potter to be real and I want to be a witch! It's just so amazing...the idea of a whole other world hidden within ours. It would be amazing, and cool.

That or my favorite slightly mentally challenged robot 'Gir'. And if you do not know who 'Gir' is I urge to go find the cartoon "Invader Zim" it;s cute, dark and hilarious!

Also I don;t think it;s a fail to wish upon a star...if it makes you feel good and brings a smile to your face. You obviously know the likely hood of a wish coming true is slim to none, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a moment of child like happiness just because you can. All the best!

I am sorry for your loss, I have lost friends over religion and and conflict of faith. It's hard to lose someone you cared about regardless of personal views and loved them for the person they are not their faith and to not have that reciprocated. I try to treat these situations like a death, I mourn the "death" of the friendship, I let myself deal with the pain and then when I feel as though my grieving is done I go and look for new friends that can accept me for me and I then for them.

Wow. We have some Atheist ads starting to run in Ontario soon. But they are way harsher than this. And we've had less of an outcry over it.

Did anyone read the article where Ms. Smart stated "God would never tell someone to kidnap and rape another person."?

I couldn't believe it. As horrific as this story is and even as deep as it's hit me I can't help but be repulsed at the statement. Not only has this young lady been abused in the name of religion but she's also delusioned by it.
