I wonder if you could be prosecuted for hitting a psychic? It would make a good court case , although i reckon you'd eventually serve time, but it would also have to discredit psychics to get to that point, anyone wanna kamikaze mission?

If you have a look at any religiously themed video (pick a random one) on YT you will see a strong majority on our side, it is heartening.
13. Inventor Doesn't Dare Say 'Perpetual Motion Machine'
Comment #124074 by leodavinci on February 8, 2008 at 9:45 am
Man i hope his machine doesn't work, i want my baby to work, ive refining and improving the design for almost ten years - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu8zGGjCbXI and
i also made an animation of leonardo da vincis attempt at perpetual motion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhR-K10UjnY , very slick little machine.
I know PM is pseudosciency but i quite like challenging our current understanding of the laws of physics.
For example " Energy cannot be created or destroyed" - does that mean that the universe has existed forever? If so wouldn't that be the perpetual motion of a closed system with no loss or gain of energy? Does that mean that the laws of physics simultaneously prohibit and allow perpetual motion?
I don't know but at the same time i'm very rational and you shouldn't put perpetual motion seekers into the same place as alchemists, god botherers, psychics and alien abductees. Why is the universes expansion speeding up instead of slowing down as the laws of physics predict? Dark matter, dark energy? Nobody knows where this energy is coming from, maybe the universe is one giant perpetual motion machine!!

"Babies are vulnerable, more helpless initially than any of the animals"
Does he have any idea as to why this is?
I doubt it, just in case he finds this website, i'll fill him in - Human babies are more vulnerable than other animals because the adult females pelvis has rotated to allow for bipedal locomotion. This means that the birth canal the baby has to fit through is smaller than it would otherwise be, the result of this is that all human babies are born premature, otherwise they would not fit through the birthing canal, hence the reason we are so helpless.

24. In defense of dangerous ideas
Comment #58255 by leodavinci on July 24, 2007 at 6:50 am
I really liked this article.
I have tried many times in the past to have a couple of debates with women and men on the rape and paedophilia question. Both sexes just plain refuse to listen/answer and seem to think that i am threatening them in some way by asking, when all i want is their point of view. The females get understandably agressive but i think we could do a lot more for society if these questions were answered and debated rather than ignored.
I have also asked a couple of my white male friends do they think that the african man/women is stronger and basicallly a better "machine" than the white man, they take this as a mild insult and throw up all sort of garbage in their defence (i am caucasian also so unbiased, just interested).
I always ask them these questions and statements -
1 How many black men play golf?
2 Who is the best golfer and has the longest drive?
3 How many black women play tennis?
4 Who are the best female tennis players?
5 Will a white man ever win the 100 metre sprint?
6 How many white men make the final line up in the 100 metre sprint?
I'm sure if i thought longer i could make up many more statistics that clearly fly in the face of the average.
At this point they kind of concede defeat and throw up the point that the white man is more intelligent because he has invented more and basically made the civilisation we live in today etc.
I feel this is a bad argument as the black man has not yet had the chance to prove himself academicallly and mentally for various reasons of which i am sure you are all aware.
The way i see it is as follows - nearly all dogs are descended from the timberwolf, some of the breeds that resulted from the timberwolf are specialised in certain disciplines, the greyhound is fast, the bloodhound can smell a drop of blood from miles away etc. But if you compare all of the traits of the bred dogs to those of the timberwolf, the timberwolf beats them all hands down based on averages. You could then say that this is an unfair analogy because all of the dogs mentioned were "evolved" with human intervention, but so are we, the moment we lit a fire, built a house or sharpened an arrow we threw evolution out the window and took it to a different level that we were in control of, we no longer had the pressures of nature pushing us to be harder, faster and stronger. You could say that as soon as we left Africa we were softening and have been doing so ever since as new and varied inventions take us further away from the "real world"
Just my opinion folks, let me know what you think, and be nice to us dangerous idea makers.

I used to dislike Derren Brown because he gives the impression to his audience that he is doing real magic - we know what that is mutually supporting to don't we!!
I glad to see he is taking a similar path as the great Houdini and using his skills to shoot down those that claim supernatural abilities in all their forms. Just in case any of you are unfamiliar with Houdini, he had a very strong dislike of psychics/mystics and those that claimed they could speak to the dead. So he decided to set them a challenge upon his death. Before he died he gave his wife a secret code, if these charlatans really could speak to the dead they should know what the code is right? Of course none of them ever got it and this form of daylight robbery had a marked decline in they years following his death, however has enjoyed a resurgance in recent decades, keep up the good work Mr Brown.
