It's kind of annoying when people say things like "Atheists believe god is dead" - things that were never born can't be dead. That's such a great way to make Atheists look negative. "Ya know the greatest being in the universe? Atheists say he's dead, they must have killed him. We don't like people who kill great beings, now do we? Get them!"

I think this is a great idea, and I'm all in. There's so many times where I'll mention something about religion being ridiculous and suddenly there's a bunch of people who are surprised to hear that from somewhere besides their own head.

This idea of making people realize how common it is to find religion ridiculous is a great one. To say that it's unnecessary to group ourselves is a lie. Time moves on and on, and religion only grows. It's something like this that can start phasing it out of our lives.

This article speaks the truth, but the question really is: Where do we start? I think we all sit around and think about how screwed up the world is with religious people in power and want to do something about it. It's a matter of not knowing what to do.

I like the "Stand-Out Campaign" idea from Richard Dawkins with the Scarlet Letter shirts, but there has to be something more than just wearing shirts. Any brainstorming?

It's interesting. They discussed the point of "why keep defending the old testament, why not just give it up and only keep the new testament?" Well Jesus believed in the old testament, so of course you couldn't give it up. You'd have to throw them both away, which makes the most sense anyway.

It's scary that these people have already gotten high-ranking jobs in the white house. If not for that information, I would just think "oh no one will ever take them seriously, so it's not so bad". But this video is proof that it really is as bad as it sounds. It's time to stop appeasing these fanatics and put an end to their legitimacy.
