2. Lying for Jesus?

There is now a torrent of the film up.
Not so sure I can stomach watching it after reading that.
Bad medicine.

3. Female Muslim medics 'disobey hygiene rules'

"Dr Charles Tannock, a Conservative MEP and former hospital consultant, said: "These students are being trained using taxpayers' money and they have a duty of care to their patients not to put their health at risk.
"Perhaps these women should not be choosing medicine as a career if they feel unable to abide by the guidelines that everyone else has to follow."

I think this statement says everything that needs to be said about this matter. Succinct and to the point.

4. Are Darwin's Theories Fact or Faith Issues?

Listened to this last night. PZ absolutely creams the guy. It's almost as if we've started throwing christians to the lions again. I nearly felt sorry for Dr Simmons, but then I remembered he's a creationist. Well done PZ.

5. MySpace: No place for Atheists?

Just visited my page for the first time in ages, and noticed they have removed my big red 'A' from my page. Bastards.
If it wasn't for essential music contacts I would be deleting my account.

6. Gay Jesus play blasted by bishop

Comment #114052 by acidhouser on January 21, 2008 at 9:25 am

"expressed his outrage at the "unhistorical and untrue" depiction of the son of God and some of his disciples as homosexual." and

"It's historical nonsense and I wouldn't want to go and see it. Life's too short." and

"It's just completely fanciful and self-obsessive,"

So is this the play or the bible they are complaining about?

7. Fish out of water: Your Inner Fish

What a great article. That's another book to add to the list then.
Visiting this place is costing me a fortune!
Oh well.

8. Religion advances despite science (and thanks to Dawkins)

Comment #72943 by acidhouser on September 23, 2007 at 3:45 pm

I'm sorry but I only managed to read the first 2 sentences, and Bingo! there is that word shrill again.

You have to use the word shrill when referring to Richard Dawkins, it's the law, you know!

10. Mind Over Manual

Lets get the obvious one out of the way early.

I wonder how long before religion makes the list? :)
