I am not prompted to comment much, but ...

al-rawandi, I remember not long ago reading someone suggest that we turn Iraq into a "sea of glass". (I think that's the phrase used, but with all apologies, I can't find the exact quotes.) You, quite rightly, brought them up short about the tastelessness of the statement.

And then, in comment #183434 above, I read this:

You are genuinely retarded, and this November I will be voting for anyone who runs on a platform of bombing Romania.

I have to admit, I'm left in a state of curiousity. Why would bombing Iraq be more of a concern to you than bombing Romania? Is there a qualitative difference I am unaware of? Or is this simply a visceral reaction to clear(?)mind's willful retardation?
