I smell desperation.

It's encouraging that 75% of college students are losing their faith.

Also I second Glacian's comment in #36. I thought the same thing.

When I was about 16 yo I spent many hours at the main branch of the Virginia Beach public library reading the first Encyclopedia of Unbelief. It was a great thing to have available. I will buy this one and leave it laying around the house in hopes that my kid will pick it up one day.

I think Flew went to Pantheism or Deism. I pretty sure he never professed xtianity.

Awful?

I understand what she wrote.

Is a journalism degree required to be an outspoken atheist? We all have a role. Any voice is welcome.

It might be more helpful to offer constructive criticism rather than just stating it's awful. This is the kind of thing theists love. "Oh, even other atheists think it's awful". I can hear them now.

Pat Condell is awesome. I have been watching his videos since the first one. I love his approach. He uses humor to really hit hard and twist the blade.

He is the best of the "YouTube Atheists". Much better than CapnoAwesome.

We all realize that Mareen and Susannah Duvall, 17th-century immigrants from France have thousands of decendants all over the world.

BTW, I read that Obama's momma was atheist.

Did this article just advocate drowning to those who teach their children something other than xtainanity?

Makes you really wonder what can come up when you ask, "What would jesus do?"

I welcome the fight they are trying to rally. The new "atheist movement" benefits from these outbursts from the religionists.

I watched 1-7. Looking forward to the rest. It was neat to see clips of him from CSPAN in the past.

He's coughing a bit. I hope he takes care of himself. I found myself worrying about his health.

Great little debate.

I was wondering what Hitchens would have to say about Mother Teresa's lack of faith. Bill Donohue got beat up on pretty bad. What's his hang up about the dimensions of Hitchen's book? That was weird.

I like how Matthews said Hitchen's writing where brilliant at the end.

Great stuff.
