1. Christians challenge teaching of evolution

Comment #204391 by GoodbyeGodNZ on July 4, 2008 at 10:34 pm

Don't worry too much guys, this Focus on the Family turkey Tim Sisarich got totally carved up by Waikato University biological sciences senior lecturer Alison Campbell on NZ National radio on Tuesday morning. Link below.

http://www.radionz.co.nz/__data/assets/audio_item/0009/1621368/ntn-20080701-1130-Creation_vs_Evolution_in_Schools-wmbr.asx

I sent Alison an email congratulating her on her good work and she replied thanking me for the feedback and assured that she would be keeping the hammer down on challenging these sorts of things.

This Focus on the Family guy is a real turkey and knows nothing about science whatsoever, as is normally the case with these sorts, he is just a pathetic faithhead.

As Doctor Campbell mentions in the discussion, the author of The Privileged Planet material is shadey .....???

Well that seems to be a diplomatic way of putting it. Have a look at Guillermo Gonzalez on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guillermo_Gonzalez_(astronomer). He is really shonkey!

Fuckin Arabs!

I've always been a peace loving and non aggressive person but I'm starting to feel that I'm being sucked into becoming a racist against my will.

These bastards want it all their way!

Love that reference to their paedophile prophet. It really just lines up with the truckloads of perverted Catholic priests over the years and now.

OK, so they have problems with dogs but love camels and that now explains the one I heard years ago........

Q: Why do they call camels 'ships of the desert?"

A: Because they're always full of Arab semen!!!!

Yes I agree. 10 fundamental facts and 10 myths & rebuttals about Evolution which could be used across the board, in all forums, etc, could go a long way to helping to clear up lots of misinformation.

6. Aliens need Christ's redemption, too

Comment #201319 by GoodbyeGodNZ on June 29, 2008 at 3:16 pm

Holy fuck! This is a long one.

I haven't read it all yet but did notice an earlier bit:

"This is merely a sad commentary on the ignorance of newsmen, who seem not to know the noble role the Jesuits have always played in the history of higher education, or what the role her handmaiden science fills in relation to the Church."

Reading this mornings paper here in Wellington NZ, an article about Robert Mugabe - What makes a monster tick? - reveals that:

"He was raised by a fanatically Catholic mother who thought her son Robert had been chosen by God to lead the people. He attended a Jesuit school."

So much for catholic mothers and jesuits ..... they produce monsters. I rest my case!

Great stuff Reverend Lynn. I thought I was hearing things to start with. Your whole argument and delivery was just superb. God we've got some amazing people in our camp. The whole religious establishment has every reason to be shitting themselves.

9. Indian village proud after double 'honor killing'

Comment #182366 by GoodbyeGodNZ on May 19, 2008 at 9:08 pm

My published letter to my local newspaper this week.

"I refer DomPost headline 15 May "Daughter hit for dating a Muslim" - An Assyrian Christian has been convicted after hitting his 20-year-old daughter for going out with a Muslim.

Recently, The Observer in UK revealed how 17-year-old Iraqi student Rand Abdel-Qader was beaten to death by her father after becoming infatuated with a British soldier in Basra.

Later, The Guardian published an interview with the father, Abdel-Qader Ali, who said with no trace of remorse there is only one regret: that he did not kill his daughter at birth. 'If I had realized then what she would become, I would have killed her the instant her mother delivered her'.

Abdel-Qader remains a free man, despite having stamped on, suffocated and then stabbing his student daughter to death. He was initially arrested but released after two hours. Astonishingly, he said, police congratulated him on what he had done as they are men and know what honour is.'

A recent initiative in NZ has been The National Statement on Religious Diversity which expounds tolerance of all religions in this country.

I can't and won't ever tolerate any religious beliefs which teach, condone and nurture these sorts of evil concepts, totally at odds with the fundamental moral codes of NZ.

The UK, Holland, France and many other countries are now paying the price of accepting these religious and cultural influences into their midst.

Please wake up New Zealand and think deeply before risking a slide back into the dark ages by not openly opposing such people and their behavior".

Kind regards

11. Ayaan Hirsi Ali versus Timothy Garton Ash

Comment #98635 by GoodbyeGodNZ on December 14, 2007 at 1:00 am

Quite Simply

Ayaan is the piece of the vanguard that we need and now have on board. Her articulation is great and she has seen things from all sides.

We now have a five point arrow system RD,DD,SH,CH and AHA and they will screw all ahead with our help behind.

12. An Open Letter to Richard Dawkins

Comment #96685 by GoodbyeGodNZ on December 10, 2007 at 8:32 pm

Professor

"Here's my proposal, Richard. Now that you rightly have earned yourself the title of leader of the neo-atheist, secular activists, I think you would do a great service to humanity to reject, as John Paul II did for Christians, the evil actions of a tiny percentage of atheists who have, in your opinion, acted in a way that poorly represents your belief system, in particular your common denial of the existence of God."

Don't touch it with a bargepole Richard. All the cunning little Nazi worshipper wants to do is lure you into a linkage with Mao, Stalin, Hitler, etc.

There is no linkage and we'll keep it that way.

CruciFiction - Sounds like you're a self centered little tosser who just flung his toys out of the cot. We're better off without attention seekers like you!

Great interview from both Dobbs & Hitchens. It's great to have another champion up at the front punching hard with Richard, Sam and so many others like Jonathan Miller.

Just who wouldn't die for the voices and styles of delivery of RD, SH & CH. They can all foot it in debate with the best on the planet!

19. Pope abolishes limbo

Comment #33992 by GoodbyeGodNZ on April 23, 2007 at 2:26 am

This was in the news a couple of months ago and it's purely for our mad Catlic mates to get parity with our mad Muslim mates in the 3rd world African countries religious battlegrounds. You see, there is no limbo in Islam and the ex Nazi boy in the Vatican got wind that they were slipping behind in the recruitment game in those areas. Their twisted minds then twigged to the fact that they might be out of alignment with some of their policy relating to infant deaths (and there's a bit of it that goes on in that part of the world).

The manufacturing process continues! It's been just like that since that bullshitter Paul put pen to paper in the 1st century. Just one long line of vote grabbing shit!!!!!!!

My life took on meaning when I started to understand Evolution and the Cosmos!

Hi Carol

A wonderful account and I understand exactly where you're coming from. A touching story of your loving position with your husband and your point in life.

Isn't it so sad the way that so many people around us are living in a delusion?

But more so, isn't it really noble that we and our ilk have had the intelligence to break out of it.

When I leave this life (many years in the future, I hope) I'll just be content that I've been an enlightened member of the river of life on this unique planet!

Kind regards

29. Richard Dawkins interview with Paula Zahn

Comment #22125 by GoodbyeGodNZ on February 13, 2007 at 1:02 am

Overall we came out of it pretty damn well!

We're just so fortunate to have Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Dan Dennett and so many other brilliant people like them leading our cause.

They wipe the floor with their opposition time after time.

PS. The God Delusion has gone onto the Dymocks Bookshops chain Best Seller shelves here in New Zealand.

30. Do stop behaving as if you are God, Professor Dawkins

Comment #20906 by GoodbyeGodNZ on February 7, 2007 at 2:11 am

More theodrivel!!! Stick with it Richard. You're right on the mark. If it takes intolerance then that's what we'll give them. Religion has been sucking on the blood of tolerant societies for years. If we atheists are to have self respect we can't in any way tolerate or condone madness and anyone who believes in a higher intelligence (or any of the thousands of variations of God that I've heard described), has a slice of madness ranging from a mere afternoon tea portion to the whole cake, depending on their religion, denomination and personal infliction. (Whoops! Sorry, long sentence / rant)

I've noticed that many religious players in this current theist/atheist phase seem to want to smooth over the conflict of opinion and find common ground of some type so they can quietly move on and carry on with their madness. Quite simply there is no common ground when it comes to fact or fiction and to even contemplate going there is an insult to our intelligent and unshackled minds.

Comment #19260 by GoodbyeGodNZ on January 26, 2007 at 1:30 am

Yes, a damned good article.Isn't it great the way that writers and commentators are sensing the obvious massive and pronounced groundswell of people both confirming their non belief and those deserting religion.

I believe 2007 is going to be a landmark year in bringing mumbo jumbo to it's knees.
