Unrelated to most of the posts here, but I just had to rush to the defence of Julie Burchill. Considering she started out as a 17 year-old punk writing for the NME in the 70s; became a unreconstructed Marxist columnist who somehow simultaneously supported Margaret Thatcher for most of the 80s; abandoned her husband and newborn son; became a lesbian; split up with her girlfriend only to go an marry her brother (her ex-girlfriend's brother that is); and now writes novels about teenage girls experimenting with drugs and lesbian sex, I think it is a bit of an insult to compare her to that vapid, boring cretin, Ann Coulter.

Ohnhai,
you can check out an article on religion by her here: http://commentisfree.guardian.co.uk/sue_blackmore/2007/06/we_of_little_faith.html
She certainly doesn't think faith is rational.
