1. A Letter From Hell

If only this would make it to the front page of Digg like the Tom Cruise videos did.
godtube.com?
I didn't even know such a website existed. I wonder what will happen if I were to make an account in order to upload some Pat Condell or Richard Dawkins videos on there? The irony will be when I post them on other forums and such as a godtube video.

2. Artificial Life Likely in 3 to 10 Years

This shows that life designed or not cannot exist without evolution. The designed life would first have to be able to multiply, pass on its characteristic information, and it must be able to mutate. Actually the third must is an effect of the second and first so it is inevitable just on widely varying timescales. No matter how badly designed the organism made, once it is able to do this it will self correct through natural selection. The process is always biased towards this corrective adaptation and is not random. Although, if you rewound time a billion years back when multicellular life first appeared then ran it forward back to our time. I would pretty much guarantee that humans wouldn't be here, but you will see completely different organisms filling the same niches. Essentially, the only reason why we have four limbs is because the fish we evolved from had four fins.

America really needs this. Not many have heard of Dawkin's "The Root of All Evil?" since nobody would air it here or advertize for it. I am also interested in how this will come together as a comedy.

4. Does the Bible have a place in public schools?

A fix to this would be to also have the study of the Talmud, Koran, Greek Mythology, and Egyptian Mythology in the same class. I think the Greek Mythology would bring me to a better understanding of God of War.

5. Evolution IS a Blind Watchmaker

On abiogenisis. I think that life here first started out there. When we see microbes that can survive the vacuum of space or on the cooling rods of nuclear reactors as well as reentry it is obvious they can be dispersed in the dust and gas of space. Through the process of accretion they became deposited on planets. They would only survive on a sufficiently cooled planet where a surface has formed. Since life on Earth appeared so early I say this is more likely than the creation of replicating molecules here.

This is an old classic and it has won many awards. I'm actually surprised it wasn't already posted here.

7. New Noah's Ark ready to sail

I wonder if anyone could find a picture of it?
The arc story is actually ripoff of The Babylonian "Epic of Galgamesh".

"Thanks to you, I die like Jesus Christ, to inspire the weak people."
So the glorification of Martyrdom is an atheist concept? How is he an Atheist?

11. Atheism isn't the final word

Comment #32315 by Ev3nt H0riz0n on April 16, 2007 at 8:57 pm

wow its another God=morality smoking pile. I like it how he ends his trash with a statement so ironic as "Then again, humility is itself a religious concept.".

12. New Primate Species Found In 42 Million-year-old Texas Fossils

Comment #32271 by Ev3nt H0riz0n on April 16, 2007 at 3:07 pm

WTF is this I hear? the same retarded comments for the past 5000 articles! It stopped being funny and now is just sad. This is an article about a new species discovered and I suggest you talk about it instead of saying the same repetitive, stereotypical crap. You and I are atheists on an atheist website yet most posts lack intelligence and are turning this into fanboyist trash.
At the very least keep it in the forums.

13. US TV Commercial for The God Delusion during Countdown with Keith Olbermann

I like what was said but not the way it was presented with the voice and cheapish background. If anything they should just have used some quick clips of suicide bombers, fundies, and fanatic crowds.
