1. Discussion between Richard Dawkins and Paula Kirby

I was lucky enough to be there, what a great afternoon! One of the abstracts from RD's writings that Paula asked him to read was one of my favourites: the way that atoms are lined to form diamonds, it was just breathtaking, scientific beauty in action.
Paula, I'm the woman who approached you and RD at Inverness airport and mumbled something along the lines of "I have read all your books" then blushed every shade of red. How embarassing!

Hope you had a great birthday!
I'm flying to Inverness tomorrow for the TGD event, really looking forward to it.

Nicely researched, Zapawarrior. When Pope Ratzinger became pope, the media in Italy were silenced over his nazi past. It just says a lot about the power of the Vatican!

Oh and, by the way, "father" Jonathan forgot to mention that Pope Ratzinger was in Hitler's army and worked as a guard in a concentration camp, tho apparently he himself didn't actually kill any Jew.He was just there to make sure that none escaped.
