Steve Zara:
The episode "Blink" was magnificent. I thought "Girl in the Fireplace" was perhaps the best Dr Who episode I have ever seen.

Signed the petition and wrote to my MP (Denbighshire, UK). I'm not sure what good we can do from here but I really hope that some influential people in the West speak up about this.

Well the Professor certainly was on form in this interview!
I know we all despair at the likes of the caller but I think it's good that Dawkins had the chance to refute one of the most commonly asked questions by those who haven't read about evolution.
That Tiktaalik site is great by the way. Cheers for that!

But remember guys - God loves us.
Seriously that is terrible. Shown to impressionable children that sort of stuff can really leave a mark. I know a friend who was really shaken up when she had it drilled into her by someone at school at an early age that anyone who wasn't a Christian was going to hell.
Truly disgusting.
5. Sudan demo over jailed UK teacher

The name Mohamed was actually suggested by a little boy in the class called...Mohamed.
The class then took a vote on all the suggested names and that one won. The kid has even said this publicly for the defence of the teacher.
Every time I hear more details about this story I get more and more angry.
When a 7 year old is displaying more logic and sanity than a country's government then you know there's something terribly wrong.

crazy old man wrote "Mr. Fry assumes that following the motive to believe in man-made climate change can only lead to positive results."
I think it was more 'the negative results of following it and being wrong far outway the negative results of ignoring it and being wrong'.
I think he makes a fine point and I remember Christopher Hitchens making exactly the same one in his Book-TV interview which can be found here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whCv00G12iI
