Another happy birthday wish Richard. And thanks for the gift of your elegant writing and great web site.
2. New Findings Confirm Darwin's Theory: Evolution Not Random

Hi all,
I also read this as saying that the observed -mutations- are directed, not random. That's really different, implying that the big spook has a finger in the pie unless the answer is similar to the one Donald (16) describes. Is this just a case of bad reporting?
3. Do you have to read up on leprechology before disbelieving in them?

Hello all,
First, I have been amazed by the depth of knowlege and high quality of writing in the discussions on this list in the past few days. These are topics I havn't considered much in years, certainly not at this depth. Thank you all.
My memory was tripped by 1016 from Philip1978 on an interpretation of Ezekiel and the long, dense speculation that Revcort offered and the alternate Von Danikin piece in 1056. In the 1960's I think, a fascinating story called "The four faced visitors of Ezekiel" appeared in Astounding Science Fiction (now Analog)magazine. This was a far more coherent, interesting and entertaining interpretation. (Sorry Revcort). I am sorry that I cannot give a more accurate reference as that box of my old magazines served as lunch for a nest of termites.

After reading the inciteful posts of Jonathon Dore (73) and NorthernBright (93), I felt the need to join and comment.
Most people, myself included, don't look forward to reading, hearing or otherwise receiving ideas that challenge our beliefs. Critical thinking is hard work. So much easier to let daddy, teacher, senator or pastor tell us the answers. Thus, a quick count of book titles, for and against, will convince many without the need to read. The debate over details inside the books matters little.
Please reread the above posts. They said it better.
