In all fairness and considering the Roman Catholic Church's apology for the Spanish Inquisition. I think we should all drop it as an accusation against the church as it all happened a long long time ago. And only quite recently last century, many Athiests where involved in various regimes of Stalin, Mao and Hitler.

This being said, I wonder why the Church with all this knowledge of hindsight was in bed with General Franco in Spain, the last Facist Goverment in Europe right up to his death in 1975. Hmm ?

Does the R.C.C. still get all weak-kneed and develop a case of wilfull blindness to human rights abuses if it's given a place of primacy and say in social policy of any dictator it comes across? This did happen up to 32 years ago.

Or have they learned there lesson ? AGAIN !
