1. Artist Builds Temple of Science

uf... i know he says he's only doing it to get a conversation "going"... but this sort of thing just gives fodder to the "science is religion" crowd... i wrote about it at some length today on my blog http://truthisawoman.wordpress.com...

2. An atheist plays God's advocate

Hi all, as a slightly off topic comment/request, I'm hosting a survey on my blog to collect data about people's use of religious labels -- and I'd really sure appreciate your input! Thanks in advance. http://truthisawoman.wordpress.com/2008/08/09/religious-labels-an-online-poll-please-help/

I'm sure it's tedious beyond compare, but does anyone know where one can download this? My cursory search came up short...

5. Creation vs. Reality

Comment #98728 by TyKonderoga on December 14, 2007 at 6:35 am

I thought this was a (quite clever) attempt at demonstrating the inanity of creationism by couching it in "scientific" terms... it is satire, maybe not in-your-face obvious, but satire nonetheless...

EDIT.
I just went to PZ's site to read the comments... it seems because he "misinterpreted" the point of the video, many commenters did as well... wow, i think that is a strong commentary on "allegiance" to personality... even among we free-thinkers and free-spirits...

6. Bill O'Reilly Interviews Lori Lipman Brown

Comment #95804 by TyKonderoga on December 9, 2007 at 8:38 am

Lori should have asked Bill to replace the word "religion" with "whiteness" and "the religious" with "white people" -- then asked him if objections should still be characterized as "whining" on the part of the minority...
