1. 'Redesigned Hammer' That Forged Evolution Of Pregnancy In Mammals Found

Now, all they (Temp. Foundation) need is a gene that let's the baby born WITHOUT being conceived!

More serious, so far I have been told that the Temp. Foundation is honest, and I believe so. In spite of their belifs, I never saw a result from something sponsered by them that proves god existence.

Aleluia!

More readly I would believe that pigs can fly!

Hey, people! Not everybody who believes in ID is brainwashed! Some people just lack that critically thinking faculty, that's all.
It is not the case that there is variability in the human species in every respect but no variability with respect to intelligence! Some people are not so intelligent as others. Stop with that crap from Enlightenment that all are intelligent. Read Spinoza.

Good video with a dream team.
It is sad that most people aren't convinced by evidence and reason, and they will not be convinced by this video too.
But the should!

IMOH, the way the world is going is gonna get us in lots of trouble. Let us hope that videos and people like this will help to, if not getting things better, at least they won't get worse (like my english!).

4. The real difference between liberals and conservatives

Haidt had step out of the matrix of right and wrong to study those people. The problem, it seems, is that he never came back!
And, trying to be open-minded and politically correct(?), he falls into the fallacy Sam Harris describes in his response at EDGE. Here's an excerpt from that response:

'Haidt is, of course, right to worry that liberals may not always "hold the moral high ground." In a recent study of moral reasoning, subjects were asked to judge whether it was morally correct to sacrifice the life of one person to save one hundred, while being given subtle clues as to the races of the people involved. Conservatives proved less biased by race than liberals and, therefore, more even-handed. It turns out that liberals were very eager to sacrifice a white person to save one hundred non-whites, but not the other way around, all the while maintaining that considerations of race had not entered into their thinking. Observations of this sort are useful in revealing the biasing effect of ideologyâ€"even the ideology of fairness.'

Haidt doesn't come close to this, I think, but the bias is the same. And it's that same bias (or sense of superiority? I don't know) that underlies most of the multi-culturalism here in Europe, and some strands of moral relativism (of the sort shown by Haidt).

It's an old problem: I've been told many times "Put yourself in my shoes"; I've done that, often to find out that there are two persons wearing the same shoes (the OTHER's shoes) and no one in MY shoes (no wonder, I left!)

6. The benefits of 80 million years without sex

I would say that sexual organisms use(kind of) the same strategy of 'independent chromosomes' by evolving them not in one body (like the Bdelloid rotifers do) but in TWO bodies (that is to say, males and females 'play the role' of independent chromosomes). Some say that the males are experiments of female genes...
