So I want to become a european citizen or british citizen(even though I have italian blood, I can't find the necessary paperwork)soooo..., any British or European girl who is single and desperate for a romantic, atheist and caring guy? I'm avaliable!

Comment #118166 by drcancerman on January 30, 2008 at 12:38 pm
I find it absurd that accounts and groups are getting deleted because theists find atheism offensive. What? Is it a thoughtcrime now? If they find what other people believe (or don't believe) offensive, they need to get over it. If they find people getting together because of a shared lack of belief offensive, then they don't need to join said group.

Myspace is not the only one who does this!!
Orkut has been deleting atheist and agnostic communities and profiles for years! They only need a few jesus's boys to complain and they do it!
Then they have a bunch of users who acts like vigilantes, they start stalking and bothering and threatening the life of the user until he leaves!
The only one who is good is Facebook.

This is an important part since the title and introduction make it seem like there is some kind of out-of-this-world cooperation. Of course, we understand that it's just a word play, but the author should be more careful about his choice of words because it can get misunderstood by the general public.

The point is, putting a sharia bank is one step closer to a sharia law being implemented! How many steps is it needed for that? I dont know, but it is damn close, because if you criticize islam you are a racist, bigot and should be sue and be killed, so, I think you should guess how far we are.
As an atheist I oppose to anything religious in public places like banks, and the idea of having sharia law is repulsive to me or any freethinker. Their belief should be confined in mosques only, or church only for christians.

Even though that is not what you two said, but little by little that is what, at end will be.

I find the idea of a belief system based on rituals laughable, I find it hysterically laughable a belief system that insists that everyone who is not with them will be punished, and I find a belief system nerve-wrecking-belly-pain-pants-wet-laughable with all this and more;
I wouldn't go as far as forbidding them, but I agree, they are repellent, but in one case, even though I dont like them(christianity) either because they love to "fuck" us around, But I prefer to be with them in the issue of islam, at least with them I can guarantee my freedom, at least partially until it can be restored 100% again.
I just find repugnant and completely useless people who tries to defend islam; Christianity too, but in a battle, or a discussion between christianity and islam, I will defend christianity because it has had, at least, the small decency to reform itself and allow scientific development(of course they have problems in certain areas, abortion, cloning etc...) but at least they do allow.

The solution is as clear as crystalline water, REFORM ISLAM, take out the parts which support islamic supremacy, those parts are as dangerous and bad as nazi supremacy belief. Let women have EQUAL rights as man, let them TAKE out that hijab, burqa and other stupidity that makes women INFERIOR and SUBMISSIVE; STOP with child sex and marriage! Teach what Mohammed was, a blood-thirsty crazy paedophile that on EXTREMELY rare occasions had the decency to say something good or write it in the quran. Teach them that islam is a political system, and that in a free world sharia law is not welcome in any way. Tackle, destroy or even combat extremists in their mists, protest and let people have freedom of speech! Let us ENJOY mocking the weird epileptic camel-goat-lover Mohammed. Even if the Quran gets to be as thick as a comic magazine, it doesn't matter...
REform islam! I understand that this might be difficult, but is the only way...

I believe so - they do have some strong "honour" culture there. And vendettas - again, eye for an eye all tied in with family honour...
Middle East is infested with Islam - doesn't mean Islam doesn't have roots in pre-Islamic rituals. Why do you think they walk around the Kabaa? Like Christianity in Europe having many pre-Christian rituals (and places of worship - bit like Islam), Islam has the same. Only now, they are called Islamic :-)
For other religions, there's Manichaeism, Zoroastrianism, Bahai....
Also, Google the impact of Zorastrianism on Judeo-Christian religious thought and also on Islam. I have read much of modern Islam as we know it owes plenty to Iranian cultural thought which has a strong grounding in Zoroastrianism. Strong enough for them to celebrate Nowruz - a pagan holiday :-) ,

Spinoza;
But the Jewish and christians use in a different way, not in a religious way like muslims do; According to a muslim friend of mine(which later on told me she couldnt be at my side because I'm an unrelated man) there is different levels of believes, the strong ones and then the not so strong and the weak, she said that the weakest is the ones who doesnt wear a hijab or burqa.
But another thing is, I surely never saw a jewish or christian woman with a burqa! Head to toe covering...NEVER!
You should learn a bit moreabout what muslims believe. Specially talking with one of them to learn their costumes...

The muslism stole Jerusalem from the Jewish, then the crusades(and yes, it was a good thing retaking it), now they have half of Jerusalem and destroying old temples to hide the fact that there was a Jewish temple before...
Actually, why a country so small can be the beginning of every conspiracy theory from a nut-job who defends islam?
And I must even say, I happy that the Polish actually managed to defend Vienna from the muslim oppression and conquest...

In countries with a considerable non muslim population you can definitely hold a substantial position of power e.g the Sudan, Lebanon, Iraq (remember Tariq Aziz?)..etc. Most other middle eastern countries don't have a large christian population so you wouldn't expect them to appoint any to office.
The dhimmi tax is historical and as far as I'm aware was the basic governmental tax that you'd be charged anyway. Muslims have to pay both zakah as well as the state tax.
