For those parents (in the U.S.) lucky enough to live close to one of the 25-30 Ethical Culture Societies, consider availing yourselves of their well-established Sunday school programs. In the absence of full-time secular K-12 institutions, these Sunday schools offer a nurturing community that teaches humanistic moral ethics. It plugs a hole for children whose parents refuse to subjugate them to religion-based Sunday schools.
Search the internet for "ethical culture sunday school" (or similar).
