I was there for this one. It was too bad though that no one showed up to debate him. And in other news, I was amused last night when I picked up the wifi signal from the Discovery Institute while waiting for the bus.

I see one problem with this map. The data used for the creation is taken from "149 religious bodies that participated". So that means that organizations where I live, Seattle, are most likely reporting membership that includes people from the neighboring Snohomish and Pierce counties. This makes King County, where Seattle is, look more religious than other places in the Puget Sound region. I sincerely doubt that King County is actually more religious than those places.

Some thing I always wondered about that video is when he says "suspended in a sunbeam". Was that just Sagan being overly dramatic? I thought the picture was from the vantage point of viewing through one of Saturn's rings.
