"SETI - the search for meaning"
Are they serious? The search for "meaning"? How is the search for extra-terrestrial life a search for meaning (at least in the christian sense)? The search for knowledge yes, but if SETI is searching for meaning, then I guess I've severely misunderstood their goal

I greatly admire PZ for the way he handled the situation. It could have very easily turned ugly, and would have been a political blow to all atheists. I admire his understanding of what needed to be done in that situation, which was to walk away, and then attack the theatre in a non-violent way that may get them to change policies as who they let in their doors. Thank you for doing the right thing, PZ. You do much good for the community.

I would also like to see a review from Dawkins at some point. It will be interesting to see what he has to say on it, and have no doubt that it will be a very entertaining read.
-thanks again PZ

I find it odd that people who are religious always ask about morality without religion. hes2@usa (above post) says that if there is no god then he is missing out on immoral activities. We call people who do immoral activities without the care of other humans psychopaths and psychotics. These people deserve to be in a padded room, not out in public around all the sane people of this world. If you say that you only act morally because you fear god or believe in eternal reward, then you are indeed insane. I fear these people

I wish people would quit being stupid. It actually hurts my brain to hear this garbage. He should have spent his time on something more constructive than making this dumbass video.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, is the bravest woman in modern times. I only hope that her refuge here in the USA will allow her to speak more freely, for I am looking forward to her future (which i hope is a prosperious one, and and intellectually prosperous one for us)
