Now it's all clear:
Humanist -> The good she did.
Desperately trying to intertwine religion with her works -> The bad she did.
Classic example of the well known Weinberg statement.
;)

How did he implement the selection criterion:
"the ability to tell time".
He should spend more time on that in the video.

Lol, how can that idiot be his brother?
My blood boiled over listening to him.

But God does in some rare occasions, and particularly in the midst of great calamity, directly interfere, for example to save that one child. So I don't understand what Dawkins found so hard to grasp in McGrath's position.

It's so funny, after a time of listening to christians you really can predict what they will answer, which escape routes they will take in a debate.
I think you raised a lot of questions...
I think you again raised a lot of questions...
I think you again raised a lot of questions...
I think you again raised a lot of questions...
I think you again raised a lot of questions...
I think you again raised a lot of questions...
Hmm why would that be :D
McGrath surely has in abundance one of the most important skills for a christian: endlessly fluently babbling on. If you really get into difficulties just repeat the same over and over till the listener has no time anymore or gets fed up.

I just saw an army of babbling products of an indoctrination machine, very dangerous indeed.

I'm scared of this nutcase.
Hitchens should have wiped the floor with him on the university comment.
9. The Video: Bill O'Reilly Interviews Richard Dawkins
Comment #34437 by godisanidiot on April 24, 2007 at 4:08 am
That went rather well.
Richard made Bill look like an insecure! mindless bigot with very lame counter arguments (according to me).
But will Bill be percieved like that by his mostly idiotic viewing public?
LOL at the Apollo 'counter argument'.

What the *? He really is obsessed with RD on every level.

That last part form the woman on the right, can you be any more ignorant and (sorry to say) downright stupid?
"Let's look at Europe, where there are more atheists and where they've lost god, where the church is not that strong. Europe is becoming islamist, it's fast falling and intolerance is increasing. That's the one reason why America has not become like Europe, because we have strong christians and because atheists (in America) are not strong"

This was a shocking example of how it is to be an atheist in some part of US.

Alister McGrath: exemplary case of religion as a mind virus.
Sad story.

"Second, I discovered Christianity actually worked: it brought purpose and dignity to life."
Of course it brought 'purpose' for you: getting paid for studying fairyology.

Indeed, Richard, a parasite.
A religious lunatic, frustrated by the amount of well deserved attention 'The God Delusion' gets.

"Religion, stripped of rationality"
"intellectual return to religion"
ROFLMAO
Contradictio in terminus.
"Sam Harris's diatribe "The End of Faith" has to falsify history by claiming that Hitler and Stalin were religious in order to make its case for the malign influence of faith."
I'm currently reading this book and that is UNTRUE, Sam pointed out that both were also founded on irrational beliefs and so had all basic concepts of a religion with the respective dictators as God.
Comment #13730 by godisanidiot on December 19, 2006 at 8:23 am
He clearly doesn't see the point of atheism.
Religion is based on blind faith.
Atheism is a consequence of reason and constantly questioning things, that's the main spirit and why it can never be fundamentalist of nature.

Wow the Dean was indeed completely owned. At one moment she gave him a bit hope about the fact that Richard Dawkins was not schooled in theology. But we all know that is bonkers :D Because theology is a nonsubject, you can't be an expert in theology.

Comment #13323 by godisanidiot on December 17, 2006 at 3:31 am
Just have sent my mail:
---
Hello 'Professor'? Andy McIntosh,
About your appearance on "Sunday Sequence with William Crawley".
To state such falsehoods about the Second Law of Thermodynamics make you
incompetent to teach anything about this subject.
Richard Dawkins was completely right to ridicule you in public about
this.
The question remains are you really that stupid or did you know that you
were talking rubbish and deliberately were dishonest.
In the latter case, who payed you the money to tell this nonsense?
Either way I cannot see how you can still teach Thermodynamics in an
honest objective way.
You are a disgrace to human kind.
The University of Leeds should fire you.
Regards, a student at the University of Leeds.
---
BTW, I advise you all to write a mail and CC as many relevant email adresses as possible.

Same old blablabla, RD really has taken on a challenge trying to get reason in ignorant religious idiots.
But this is not the focus group, people on the borderline can be converted to reason.
