Cool! I wonder what environmental pressures would bring this frog species back to lunglessness?

5. EXPELLED!

Comment #147736 by aflacgirl84 on March 21, 2008 at 7:05 am

AtheistAspy: There are comments below that article, the original writer says in the comments
"And since I was literally 3 feet away from Myers when he was â€"expelled,” I heard every word. It was obvious he was being kicked out by theatre management because he was not invited nor was he on the pre-submitted list. He didn’t cause a disruption per se; he was kindly escorted out.
In fact, Dawkins himself acted as a perfect gentleman during the Q&A. He was respectful of everyone present, even though he was a little upset about Myers and his own role in the film."

So I think he might have been exaggerating when he wrote the e-mail just a tincywinney bit!
Hope this helps!
Can someone tell me how to do the quotes?

7. Should Galileo's tomb be opened for DNA tests?

Comment #141487 by aflacgirl84 on March 10, 2008 at 1:54 pm

To tybowen: Yes, it would be interesting to study the DNA of Galileo, but is it ethical to dig him up to do testing when we could do testing on individuals alive today, compared to some one who has been dead for hundreds of years and we don't know if his DNA is contaminated from moving him? For me it is not. I have a lot of respect for the dead, and don't think that exhuming two bodies to determine if they are father and daughter is a good enough reason for two people who lived over hundred years old. Now I concede that it is important to exhume a body or bodies in a murder investigation or when there are other practical reasons to do so!

9. The argument from oranges

To funny, I couldn't stop laughing at the absurdity of what this guy was saying! At the same time, though, it was very saddening that this guy truly believes what he was saying! Oh, the absurdity of it all!

10. Hitchens and Boteach Debate on God

Comment #126615 by aflacgirl84 on February 13, 2008 at 4:35 pm

I love the bit at the end when Hitchen's asked the audience wether Boteach had said something (Boteach kept saying "no, no I never said that"), and the rounding yes came back at him. Great moment, made me laugh out loud! Showed the audience was involved and was ready and willing to call Boteach out! Great stuff!

Very interesting. I wonder how well something like this could help people with learning disabilities?
