Slow and steady wins the race.
Atheists, particularly in secular societies, need merely to not give a single inch when it comes to issues such as the separation between Church and State, but I see no need to organize ourselves to the extent that we need to devise better labels for ourselves.
The future looks auspicious. A significantly greater percentage of younger people don't believe in god(s). Here's to continuing that trend.

Bill Maher has the absolute commentary and talk panels on TV.
His stand-up is often excruciating but still, the one thing he's not is a hack. He's always said what he felt and his opinions are well thought-out.

Well, RD DID say that religion, evolutionarily, had uses as a survival tool.
Maybe kids receptive to religion are better at being obedient, thus, better able to work or follow good advice?

Excellent piece. I love it when someone has a sensible critique of Dawkins's work, and he brings up a good point at the end too.
