1. Faith in Britain today

the clarity of its theology which brings theology and philosophy together and gives us an articulate intellectual expression of the knowledge born of faith

The clarity of theology - Thousands of years latter no-one can decide what the trinity is or how many people/parts there are in god.
The gospels conlfict with one another,
and for centuries church services were help in Latin so that the common person did not know the true word or god and each individual clergy could interpret for themselves

Sound clear to me

Just another case of someone thinking that if it is in print or celluloid then it must be true.

Criticises Darwinian thinkers for dismissing God, whilst dismissing their suggestions because they don't sound right - He has no idea about the scientific process.

Argh this made me mad, especially knowing that he thinks his argument is strong and that he has won

This is surely sexualising kids at too young an age. I remember going to these things with friends. Forcing kids to have dates that are marriage suitable is making them to old too soon.
I don't think young people should be of one sexuality or another.
(apologise if seem over protective, I am English so not sure what age group we are talking about)

I can't believe that America (or anywhere) needs to have this discussion and be told that atheist are ordinary people too.
Do they think we all have horns and tails?

"the disintegration of the family and the rise of atheism in the world â€" a frightening phenomenon that all religions must confront and vanquish."

What other prove do we need that religion is not about believing in a god and passing on his message and is about control and lack of free thought than someone saying belief in any god is better than atheism!!!
