1. Sexpelled: No Intercourse Allowed

Finally, I never really dared to "come out", but this movie gives me enough courage to publicly proclaim I'm a Storkist! I feel ashamed that it took so long for humanity to give credits for all the hard working storks, they need to be acknowledged.

While that was quite entertaining, and embarrassingly untrue, I found this little gem between all the blunt lies.

quote:
"If humans want to prove some theory, no matter how farfetched and self-serving, they will inevitably find some "evidence" that they can wedge into their theory."

This made me laugh, there still has to be found one piece of evidence supporting the exisitence of (a) God.

3. Do stop behaving as if you are God, Professor Dawkins

I can't get rid of the feeling that this professor is a bit jealous of the recognition and attention Dawkins is getting in the media and from the intelligentsia around world.

Or maybe this is just a way to earn an easy buck leeching on the success of his colleague.

Who knows, but it's getting a bit tiresome to read this ad hominem attacks and "arguments" based on (deliberate?) misinterpretations of Dawkins writings.

4. 12 Year Old Girl Prodigy Paints Pictures of God

There is talk about the mother and not being raised with religious background. She also describes the man in the picture as "masculine". So there may be some kind of replacement going on in her very creative but young mind for a missing father. She draws a very archetypical picture of God, I think it's very possible that she is introduced in her social environment with religion, and being told how loving this God is, there you will possibly find the root of the religious link she has fantasized. Anyway, she's one talented girl.

There are some realy nice paintings between those. The real interesting part is ofcourse what genes are responsible for this kind of talent.

6. If they preach the cause of the poor, they're my people

"And, of course, religion has been the cause of terrible deeds - although none perhaps in recent years as abhorrent as those of atheists."

This kind of "reasoning" makes my blood boil. I don't understand how someone cannot see the enormous error in this kind of reasoning.
