Yoou've got to be kidding . He just skipped over all the posts that were AGAINST the bible burnings, (I know, I was one of them) and just assumed RD was in favor of this. Knowing christians and their "fact finding" ways, they'll eat this right up and send these jackasses money to help fight their "spiritual battle".
I weep for humanity.
2. I believe that there is no God.

He's made it very clear that atheists do not believe in god, and that his belief that there is no god is his. This is probably one of the best ways I've heard someone put this, not believeing in god actually enriches my life.

Otherwise, people might fall asleep while the Antichrist eats peoples souls and writes graffiti all over the vatican

"Indisputable evidence – long hidden but now available to everyone – demonstrates conclusively that so-called 'secular evolution science' is the Big Bang, 15-billion-year, alternate 'creation scenario' of the Pharisee Religion,"
5. Do stop behaving as if you are God, Professor Dawkins
Comment #21027 by Mel Z on February 7, 2007 at 10:41 am
It's things like these that make me wonder, Do you not understand I can't just "believe"? It's impossible for me, even if I tried if no evidence is present. It doesn't matter if it gives a lot of meaning and purpose to my life, It doesn't matter if it explains everything in the universe with perfect clarity, I need PROOF. I have to know the truth, not just what is easier to understand.

this is most likely happening in a small scale (read- not high profile) all across the country. applicants are being denied their jobs or even fired if their bosses know they era not religious or christian.

Is this a joke or what?

17. What I found out about God
Comment #14699 by Mel Z on December 24, 2006 at 2:06 pm
This was me for a long time before I settled on atheism. I will still, of course, believe in a personal god if there was some sort of sensible proof for his existence, but, i do not know if I would accept him, on grounds of his obvious indifference for humankind
