I don't know if this has been previously mentioned; but did anyone notice the latent homophobia of the writer.

"It strikes me as slightly cruel that an event for people battling with their homosexuality should offer shared rooms with strangers of the same sex."

What makes this 'religion correspondent' think that any gay person would find it difficult staying in the same room as a person of the same gender.

I find that deeply ignorant, yet it is as much as one could expect from a corresponent of religion!
