Can someone either point me to a transcript of this rant, or transcribe it for me? I am confident that there are some pretty fast typists on this site, I would soooo appreciate it!

Can someone please post an audio version of this? My old school mp3 player doesn't do video, and I like to listen to this stuff while the rednecks at work rant about Clinton and Huckabee.......

I am, as always, pressed for time, I did not read each and every comment. However, I understand she was a member of the Dutch parliament. TTBOMK Here in the US, we offer 7 years free protection by the Secret Service to all ex-Presidents and their family. That is the default time period, it can, and often is, extended indefinitely.I am not sure what protection is offered to our representatives, but I believe it is similar. This would be regardless of where they happen to reside.
I am not sure where I am going with this, other than to say that I hope we can pull our collective heads out of our asses and offer this woman Secret Service protection, if for no other reason than she is a foreign dignitary, in need of protection, on American soil.
Is there anything else that needs to be said?

5. CNN Request for 'I-Reports' on religion

Heres my offering:

I believe that we live in a country that folks 'would like to think' was founded as a christian nation. History says otherwise. One merely needs to google "Treaty Tripoli" and read the real story.

It is even too much to say that we were founded upon 'christian ideas' or 'christian morals' As if these ideas did not exist before christianity. This is an absurd idea. This country was founded by men of the Enlightenment, and they were very clear and very determined in their mission to give us "freedom from religion" rather than a "Christian Nation". (They were declaring our independence from just that thing!)

Anyone who spends 1 hour studying the writings of Madison and Hamilton would know exactly what their goals were, and exactly how they felt.

Faith is no more than wishful thinking. It's well past time we took responsibility for our own fate and our own morality, after all, there is no god, we have been doing it all along!

There is no free lunch.
