The uncle of my wife say he's a doctor in acupuncture that graduated in Hawai. I asked him in wich university and where he stayed, how he paid for is degree, all those pesky questions.

My wife just gave me that creepy stare, finally she confess to me he never went to Hawai and got is degree by mail from those 'pay 5$ get 3 PhD' mail-in order.

I just love him on x-mas time, oh the laughter ;)

I had to look up wikipedia for 'curmudgeon', afterward I had to read again Prof. Dawkins's post. To my disbeliving eyes, I had to come to the conclusion I've just been bitch-slapped.

Still, while I admire the work of Darwin, I won't indulge in the theistic way of praising one's image instead of one's lifework.

In Canada, married couple don't really have anything more than non-married couple. Welfare of children are usually decide by court in case of splitting up either way and all legal crap are the same for couple living together for more than a year.

Wedding is mostly a chick fantasy crap or a symbolic for fighting an oppressive society (gay stuff).

Either way, a guarantee some people attending a wedding, end up betting how long it will last for 1$.
