I know nothing about this so I think of opera:
" MEMEMEMEMEMEME"......
completely pointless, I know.
Like a flaming beer, or a monkey with a gun.
IS a monkey with a gun pointless?
6. Ministers to Defy I.R.S. by Endorsing Candidates

I find this topic deeply interesting.
I am only 17 and have very little experience but I will say the following:
1} I have traveled outside the states and we are disliked for arrogant statements such as " the best country in the world"
2} I know little of different forms of governments but from the arguments made thus far, the transization into socialism or a form of it sounds to have some near perfect aspects.
I would be more then willing to quietly do what I could, to make a small change to that end.
I doubt someone could make me beat any drum of revolution.
3} I would love to hear some of what I consider the big names of form posting have to say on this, Rod the farmer, Danuco [ spelling from memory], Cartomancer and others, please come out of the wood work and tell us all your views on this.
4} Can someone please link some information on these topics.
5} Economics is fastenting, important and seems to be impossible to understand.
and lastly...
6} If our tax money was spent on domestic issues and further we could change the tax system so locale governments [ town/ city levels] could take a chunk of the tax money for things the people had VOTED on, what would this do?
No really....it seems like a good idea in my head.

Let a new age of rock commence.
Well, perhaps under the rocks it will say made by god.
Or very likely it wont.
Rock onnnn * electric guitar* I felt like doing something totally pointless and vaguely funny.

more like the atom of life..that's what I thought.
I thought it was something to do with the code of blood.
Just have him Knighted.
" Sir Richard" might make his critics tread a little softer.
By the way I would love to see a book on Atheist written to appeal to the teenage audience.
Anyone have any ideas on how to introduce science in " cool" ways for today's teenagers ?
14. Toward a Type 1 civilization
Comment #218608 by ty90 on July 25, 2008 at 2:43 pm
My own views of a level 1 ?
I fully support the idea, it will by nature cull and trim some cultural aspects of each country but I think the cores will remain.
Or, just maybe we will become something grander- the culture of Humanity.
Because in ways, all we need to survive and be a peace is one culture, besides a peaceful society with values that everyone can respect, what more is needed?
I am sorry if this sounds niave, but either a type 1 planet or a global democracy sounds best.
*groan* Imagine the angony of a global election...we would need to be type one just not to kill each other !- Ty

Hello everyone.
My name is Ty and I have been an avid reader of Richard Dawkins.net for roughly a year, and I do not consider an article complete until I have read the comments that have just as much insight as the article it's self.
I am currently 17 and I been pondering for a long time how to introduce myself.
I respect many if you, you who know more and can explain with greater clarity.
One of the reasons I have not commented on articles before is because I believed I did not have any equally valid input, a belief I am trying to change via reading things on this site etc.
As for this article, I have always thought wheat juice was similar to other healthy organic detoxes like Green Tea and have often seen it at gyms and Whole Foods.
Interesting.
PS: I will always value criticism and feed back, but please note that I cannot argue my points as well as some of you nor as sure as my views.
Thanks-Ty
