The Crusades and The Holocaust
Students will examine the nature of God as they progress in their understanding of suffering...

As a web developer and an atheist I don't know which upsets me more, the curriculum or the fact that every link opens a new page.

I've just finished listening to all of the 'chapters' and I have to say I enjoyed getting the various perspectives.
Jason comes across as reasonably neutral in his interviews - although the posts by 'thesciphishow' here perhaps reveal an deeper underlying bias than was presented in the show (assuming 'thesciphishow' is Jason).
I listened to these with as open a mind as possible but remain unchanged in my views; Darwinism is still the best explanation for what we observe in the natural world.
Thank you Jason for interviewing such a diverse range of people on the topic. I disagree with your presuppositions but I appreciate the insight into the various trains of thought.

Fantastic. For 45 minutes it's a gentle game of ping pong and then when it comes to the issue god and suffering McGrath's arms get tired and Dawkins switches to a tennis racket. At 50 minutes McGrath is undone.

Slow news day eh? Featuring these kinds of articles only serve to make you appear trite or petty. Rise above it.

How did this become a troll???? My comment wasn't designed to incite a debate. What's to debate? I'm just saying that making a feature of this kind of article is grasping at straws and not worthy of richarddawkins.net.

The phrase "word of god" seems to come up quite often. I suspect that this misinterpretation (where the 'word' is taken to mean 'bible') is key to fundamentalists believing that everything in the bible should be taken as sacred and literal.
Any mention of the 'word' occurred hundreds of years before there even *was* a bible.
It's this lack of historical perspective that causes so many problems.
