Comment #197314 by ebugogo on June 21, 2008 at 5:37 pm
I don't know if any one else has experienced this, but, once in northern B.C., I had some thumpers come to my door. I naturally proceeded to abuse them with vigorous profanity. The next morning some one had drawn strange hieroglyphs all over my concrete porch with side walk chalk.
oooo booga booga!

This might be slightly off topic, but did she still not achieve her original objective of throwing the heat off his asking her about misappropriating a million dollars to a church? Every one is concerned about her intolerance, not her stealing for jesus.

It seems every one has come to a logical approach to this situation. My suggestion was going to be to pack the room with several hundred (or what ever the legal capacity is)respectful, attentive listeners, wait until the final thank you's,then the whole room burst into knee slapping, finger pointing laughter, as if we all just got the joke that this clown was doing a Monty Python parody of the village idiot....

Thank You Paul Vermeersch comment 46948.
I knew if I read down far enough someone would straighten out jesusH.
Harper is frightening & his not so subtle xtian bent is odious. My wife was raised is a fairly isolated northern B.C. town. Her mennonite parents started a mind numbing educational establishment which she was forced to endure until she rebelled legally at 16 & left. She has pointed out many things Harper has legislated come from fundamental xtian values. A womans right to choose, the injection facility in Vancouver (in spite of overwhelming evidence) are just a small example of the intentions of this cunt to drag us back to medieval times in the name of baby jebus. The hundred million the liberals misspent were a drop in the bucket compared to the absolute waste of this gov't's mandates. I'd personally gladly give it back to them to see this rodent removed from our parliament. What the hell are we doing in Afghanistan any way Stevie??? Any one remember St Steve's soccer mom budget of a yr or 2 past? A married woman with kids could get huge rebates on her kids sports equipment. A single mom (evil in the eyes of the church)couldn't afford to send her kids to sports. So got no rebates. A womans group advocate was on the CBC & figured out a single mom would get about a dollar a month in rebates for child care etc. When I mentioned that out loud to my wife, she explained that the church's mandate is no divorce. ever. If you are a divorced woman you don't rate. Period. There are many more sneaky good xtian value based motives he has implemented as mentioned on other posts ex: Blessing parliament before each session. What a load of shit. I can't wait to see this bobble head george shrub clone kicked out on his butt. Good riddance Steve & jebus

Thanks to djmagaro for the link to the link. It was easier to read than pissing around with media player.
Seems the right reverend Sharpton was up to the usual tricks by repeatedly claiming that Hitchens wasn't addressing weather gawd existed or not. Sharpton knew there was a gaud because he personally felt it. What more proof would any jury need?
...lame

22. Economics and human evolution

Something always comes to mind when I read these propositions on why Neanderthals went extinct. All the theory's I've read have been plausible. Love the one above ;(Vaal)
"One wonders if an ancient shaman issued a "fatwa" against the poor Neanderthals, as they were "unbelievers" or "devils". Maybe this was religion's first great crime, the genocide of our ancient cousins."
VERY PLAUSIBLE!
Sorry if Jared Diamond already thought this up & I missed it somewhere but, based on his excellent documentary "Guns, Germs, and Steel", could it be possible that we just gave them a virus (other than religion)or disease?
23. Senator calls for answer on creation of universe
Comment #23913 by ebugogo on March 3, 2007 at 2:04 pm
If I could take the liberty to add a little to the post by pauliej please;
If I was the Education Commissioner, I think my answer would go something like this :
It is certain beyond all reasonable doubt that both the universe and life have evolved into their present states from simpler states over billions of years. Whether those processes of evolution were initiated by a supreme being(or a pink unicorn, or a flying spaghetti monster etc.) is a question which science is not equipped to answer. Therefore, any theory or hypothesis which postulates the existence of a supreme being is inherently non-scientific, and so has no place in a science curriculum.
