Richard did a tremendous job as always. However, to the caller who asked why Christianity has lasted so long, I wish Richard would have made the point that it had the support of (and control by) the state for over 1700 years. Every religion with support from the state has sustained itself for large periods of time.

Why is it that the religious apologists are the only ones with the radio/television shows? Everytime these hosts have RD, Hitchens, Harris, etc. on their shows, they cut them off, talk over them, double speak, break to commercial, etc. I wish just ONCE, it was Hitchens ASKING the questions and hence having control over the interviewee.

Christians had separate courts for centuries and look how that turned out. For example, Joan of Arc was burned at the stake for being found guilty of blasphemy by the Church, not by a secular court. This dual system went bye-bye for obvious reasons. This ridiculous "court" system needs to go as well. I'm as liberal a person as they come, but I REFUSE to be "PC" about this. There is simply no room in civilized society for this ridiculousness. Been there, done that.
