1. Heath Ledger Death: Baptist Group To Protest At Memorial

Also from Leviticus: apparently eating shellfish is also an abomination (Lev. 11:10). I wonder how this compares with homosexuality and wonder if we'll see the WBC faith-heads picketing the local sushi bar.

Yes, but the criminal that has just robbed your house is still twice as likely to be a theist? Bu wait.. don't these figures come from Mathias's anus? Garbage in = garbage out to quote a computing saying. (No reflection on what Mathias eats!)

Richard,
you say, "only a fool would say "there is no God"."

but.. Jesus said in Matt. 5:22, "...but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire."

Are you ready for a roasting?

Incidentally, notwithstanding his statement above, Jesus repeated called people fools: Matt. 23:17,19 "Ye fools and blind..." Luke 11:40 "Ye fools,..."

Or is it that I'm just not studying the Bible "properly"?

asdf comment 46:

"Its evident from his/her e-mails that TimeLord has done no research whatsoever into evolution......"

TRANSLATION

"Its evident that we have no possible way to refute the self-evident truth of what TimeLord has said and therefore it is in our best interests to ignore him under the pretence of superiority".

S'ok asdf, I understand.

Aaron 36.
Yes, but there is no evidence for evolution is there? The living world is testimony to the reality of stasis. Animals breed true to type and where there is variation it is essentially downward. This is the problem. You have to demonstrate that organism can/did/do evolve, that new characteristics can develop as a result of information that wasn't their previously. You can't do this. Dawkins uses the vast variety of dogs but at best all this proves is that dogs breed dogs. At worst it testifies against evolution because all the dogs are examples of degeneration and loss of information. A poodle may look pretty but it won't survive. Similarly we directly observe stasis but we don't observe development of increasing complexity. This applies both to the living world and the fossil record.
Evolution is metaphysical nonsense.

"We all are living transitions". Don't be ridiculous. Your gonna have to do better than that.

"The Christian creation story is based upon numerous other mythological stories"
And, of course, you can prove that?? Or even support it???

"And stop quoting Dawkins out of context". Sorry but again you'll have to do better.

"Try reading the Blind Watchmaker"
Already have. Thought it was drivel. Once you get past the brilliant rhetoric you discover a distinct lack of evidence. For example, read his section on the evolution of the bats sonar. All he does is describe how it functions and cleverly passes it off as an explanation. Or he supports evolution by pointing out that in thousands of years humans have bred dogs from dogs [????]. If you can get a poodle from a wild-dog why not a walrus? Well, why not indeed???????????

"animals that don't breed to type, don't breed". And your point???

best wishes

Have you actually considered that the creationists might be correct??? Or in your bias do you regard that as too absurd to consider. Andy McIntosh as mentioned above is probably one of the UK's leading academics. Is it not possible that he might know what he's talking about?? Maybe you should consider that its you atheists who are caught up in the matrix, hmmm. Why does the living world only evidence stasis? Why do animals only breed to type? Why don't we see any living transitions eg half scale-half feather? Why do the evolutionists Gould, Mayr, Dawkins, Stanley say that this is the feature of the fossil record as well. Strange that the stasis/sudden appearence predicted by creation is precisely what we see "it is as though they were just planted there without any evolutionary predecessors" [Dawkins]
