I wish Hitchens would stop claiming that the USA's constitution is the only constitution in the world that separates church from state. The Australian constitution bars the establishment of any religion and bars the imposition of religious observance. It also prevents a religious test for any office or public trust under the Commonwealth.
It protects both free exercise of religion (with reasonable limits) and freedom from religion.

Just like to point out that this landmark medical breakthrough was developed by an Australian from my very own Uni the University of Queensland! Could this be another nobel prize for science for Australia?
How insecure are these right-wing nutters? Obviously they have no faith in their ability to convince young people of the sinfulness pre-marital sex. If it's that unconvincing it maybe there is something wrong with the message?
