They spend $450,000 a month on airtime alone! Think of the people that could be really helped with medicine and food! They just sit there sucking the money out of peoples pockets to maintian their luxurious lifestyles. So infuriating!

"Atheism is not only a viable alternative to faith, it is, I believe, the most probable, most promising, and most positive view of life."
Here, here.
4. Wanted: Moral Education for Secular Children

I often think about this being a parent of a 2 year old and having a newborn on the way. I hope that one day the ideas in this article make their way into our education system. If children were taught these principles the world and especially the US would be a much different (better) place I think.

I really think that this museum is going to backfire on them. I cant imagine anyone with a brain walking into that place and taking it seriously......besides children that is.....oh wait a minute. Museum that looks cool to kids = daily conversions. Them damned christians are slick.

Really well put. Growing Up In The Universe should be required in every teaching institution including the faith based ones. If people can watch that and still think evolution isn't likely, theres no hope for them.
7. Sen. Clinton: Faith got me through marital strife

I look at this election as a great step for the US. Just the fact that Obama and Clinton are both running and gaining momentum shows this country is finally open to some change. Gotta take baby steps. We will have our secular president one day.
8. U.S. a theocratic state, says former Canadian ambassador

I have long considered packing my bags and heading across the bridge to Canada. I live in Michigan so it wouldn't be too much of a climate change. I only ever hear wonderful things about it. The above added to that list. This country is headed downhill right now. If this next election falls in the hands of another bible thumping fundie I will surely make the move. Its sad when your president actually makes you feel unsafe in your own country. I think (hope) the US is having a revelation right now. Books like TGD, End of Faith, god is NOT Great and movies like An Inconvenient Truth are really doing well and people cant just keep ignoring it. I have seen changes in just my friends and families and I am sure the same is happening all over. Hopefully anyways.
9. A Look at Regent University
Comment #46387 by graham513 on May 31, 2007 at 4:59 am
I work at a Xtian Teaching Radio Station and I hear Jay Sekulow's ACLJ Program every day always endorsing Regent University. Any time a controversial court case arises they completely attack everything that is un-xtian about it. You cant even guess how many times I heard the name Terry Shiavo when that fiasco was going on. Xtians may be completely ignorant in a lot of ways but let me tell you they are viciously smart in others. They know what they have to do to change this country and this country (not me) is electing people into office that fill their positions with their xtian clones. I will shed many a happy tear if I am so lucky as to see the day that school is nothing more than dust.
