It always sounds a little callous talking in this manner about a dead guy, but I had to laugh when he said that he doubted that Falwell ever really read the bible or any long book for that matter. :-) haha
2. How dare you call me a fundamentalist

I'm sure others have noticed the theme when a man like Dawkins speaks his mind. They extract every word and try to twist it around and turn it into something other than what he said. It's like some sort of guerilla writing tactic, for lack of a better phrase. Just once I would like to see a Christian fundamentalist say, "you know what Richard I don't agree with you, and I'm keeping my faith". End of story. Because ultimately that's the end result anyways.

4. Evangelicals battle over agenda, environment

Well it appears at least someone in this camp is talking about issues that are more in tune to what's going on in the real world. Certainly they're thumping their bibles and calling on scripture in an attempt to keep the herd moving in the right direction. However fed the right information on environmental issues may get them to realize that some sort of population control is certainly in order. Plus reducing the spread of AIDS most certainly calls for contraceptives instead of abstinence. I'm also thinking if you're gay that it is unlikely that you will be bringing in any new children into the world or getting any abortions, for that matter. Is it possible for fundamentalists to change some of their viewpoints by delving into environmental issues?
5. Ancient boy's skeleton sparks evolution debate

This Creationist movement should easily be seen as comical based on the overwhelming evidence for Evolution. Nice to see others with the same viewpoints. I wonder why the fundies are not on Dawkins site posting to these articles. :-)
