1. Christopher Hitchens and Bill Donohue on Mother Teresa

Comment #68463 by genius2687 on September 7, 2007 at 8:07 am

Is it relevant that Hitchens book about Mother Teresa had no citations, or footnotes, or endnotes?

If not, then that is the only valid point that Donahue could make against him.

2. Islamic creationist group launches glitzy, global blitz

Hahaha

It would be a hilarious watching these left wing Multiculturalists trying to justify Islamic creationism in schools.

They'd be like "Well we need to respect everyones beliefs and we don't want to make Muslims feel offended and ailenated. So let's teach intelligent design alongside evolution so that we can be more tolerant and lower the number of extremists by making Muslims feel more included in society".

Evolution is generally not accepted in Islam. But it does seem like Old Earth Creationism is more popular than Young Earth Creationism than compared to the Christian counterpart.

4. Freethinking Ruins All Things

If this is supposed to be some sort of argument for the existence of God, it's a very weak one.

At most, it's some ad hominem attack against freethinkers.

It attacks the worldview of freethinkers but really none of their arguments.

5. Now Muslims Get Their Own Laws In Britian

Well it certainly doesn't look like Britain is separating religion and state if these Sharia courts take the law into their own hands.

I would seriously advise people living in Britain and the rest of Europe to consider some incentives to increase secular birthrates. Because if you think it's bad now, think of 10-20 years down the line when Muslims will be able to conquer the Western European democracies by outnumbering them via birthrates and immigration.

On the issue of birthrates, Consider many secular European couples who have either no children or 1 child vs Muslims who have like 10. Not even the Catholics can keep up that that.

I would also advise Britain in particular to shut off all immigration coming from any Islamic country, and to take steps dealing with illegal immigration. It is definitely useful to emphasize the importance of secular culture in the society as well, such as considering the rights of women, gays, and the non-religious.

Wow, and the same happens in the rest of Europe.

I can't believe Britain is acting this childish and weak. To be so hypersensitive towards the Muslim population that they have to compromise their secular values.

That picture of the women in veils portrays a religion that is dead both intellectually and morally.

I just wonder what the British population will think when these Muslims start to behead homosexuals and atheists in the streets.

I'm from the states so my opinion on British society might be slightly biased, but if you look at British society today, not only do you have multiculturalism to the extreme, but the society itself is extremely materialistic and seems to care about celebrities, fashion, etc.

This isn't the mentality and character of Britain like 100 years ago.

Thinking about it, I have so much more respect for the British leadership who fought against us in the American revolution and the war of 1812 than what I see today. At least those people had some sense of strength and character.

8. The Current: Part 3: The Religious Right

The guy does have a good analysis on the religious right.

Unfortunately, he still believes in this God fairytale as he notes himself to be a theist and seems to be another one of these politically correct "religion should be respected" types of people.
