1. Evolution's Critics Shift Tactics With Schools

I remember my history lessons at school, when I was 12, we began with the age of the dinosaurs, and went on to early man, the stone, iron and bronze ages, etc. If creationism is going to be taught in schools, then it surely doesn't affect only science, the history curriculum will have to be altered to accommodate the "controversy" between a young earth and an old earth, and when events must have occurred, and the students can be left to decide that one.
Then, I'm sure a "controversy" may be injected into geography, thereby cancelling half of that curriculum. And with a bit of "creativity", it will be possible to touch all school subjects: have you heard about the controversy over addition? 1 plus 1 no longer equals 2. Or maybe it does, it depends on your world view.
It'll make marking exams difficult, all answers will have to be accepted as correct ... in fact, exams will no longer serve any purpose, teachers will just ask students to give themselves a mark ... maybe the students can teach themselves in the first place, a sort of supermarket education, you fill your trolley up with what you want and ignore the rest ... then society can dispense with teachers all together (it'd save an awful lot of money) ... and with no more teachers, there's no more controversy. Voila'!

So, all they have to do is append the question "Are you a pedophile?" to the application form for seminaries.

Have you heard this month's offer? Two sins for the price of one.
So, if you've sinned twice (and let's face it, who hasn't?) you can appease the wrath of the "all-forgiving", "all-benevolent" Lord with just one Hail Mary.
And the more productive of you can cover all 14 sins with just seven Hail Marys.
But hurry! Offer must end soon!

5. The Most Hated Family in America

Don't you just love 'em? Finally, here are decent, god-fearing folks who are prepared to live by their convictions. As the journalist says in the programme, the hatred that they show is in the bible. With a few more families like these, your average person on the street might start wondering about what is really in the bible, instead of accepting the words of wisdom from their favourite crap spouter's Sunday sermon.
6. Religion useless to Dawkins

Can we not consider the iPod in the pool a case of natural selection? Non-waterproof iPods are surely doomed to die out.
In answer to Gibodean, I think Daniel Dennett spoke about the evolutionary purpose of religion.
7. Response to Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris

Oh, I wish people only spoke when they had something to say. Listening to this fool's reasoning, it is not clear which shade of theism he supports. The logical conclusion, therefore, is that it matters not which of the world's numerous religions you follow, but that you should follow one – any belief in god is valid, no non belief is.
He makes the following statement in the film to support his diatribe against science:
"… that scientific theory manifested in the Nazi movement, because the Nazis believed the science of eugenics, that they were actually a superior race, and they believed the Jews were an inferior race …"
The claim is made that the Nazis' persecution of the Jews was the result of a scientific theory, and I have heard this argument before, but surely you identify a Jew by the religion that he/she adheres to. Or is there a some sort of histological test that determines Jew from Christian?
We live in a world in which religions contradict each other, even a close reading of the Bible will highlight numerous internal contradictions. Does this surely not show that there is no god, that all religions are man-made? Why should we swallow the b.s. these peddlers are pushing? Someone please help me to understand.

Hi Geoffrey
A search on Altavista brought up "the psalms of Veyanne". I don't have time to look into it any further at the moment, but you might investigate.
