1. The Nonbelievers

You don't have to be a theist to enjoy going to chruch, just a sicko. I always hated it. Sure, there were some wonderful people there but the institution, the rituals, the chanting, all that was utter knobbery. Why can't atheists get together on Sundays and watch football, like proper humans? Most theists have figured that one out.

2. OUT Campaign Launched, 'Scarlet Letter' Shirts Now Available!

I can only assume most of you are old or out of touch. Those of us under the age of prostate exams have a plethora of T-Shirts proclaiming our appreciation of everything from bands to football teams to pro-wrestlers. This is no different. I've ordered one and it will go in my rotation right between my 30 Seconds to Mars "Yes We are a Cult" shirt and my Camoflauge Superman logo. It's a good looking shirt and I'm a fan of the site and the message. It's not that complicated.

I enjoyed the article and I really enjoy Grayling's writing style. Paragraph long sentences are always a plus for me, and I had no trouble following it. Reminded me of Lovecraft.

Leigh, that's a brilliant point that I hadn't come across before.

5. The Case for Teaching The Bible

I really don't like this trend at all. A comparative religions course? Sure. Excerpts from the bible in literature class? Fine. But a full course on the Bible seems a complete violation of the typical scale and focus that high school course have. You wouldn't have a full high school course on Plato or Frued, you'd have a general introduction to Philosophy or Psychology (if you're even lucky enough to have those).
